Aksi Simpatik Siswa SMA 10 Makassar

Aksi simpatik ditunjukkan oleh siswa SMA Negeri 10 Makassar. Usai mengikuti UN, mereka menyerahkan baju seragam mereka kepada pihak sekolah yang kemudian akan diberikan kepada adik kelas yang membutuhkan. Aksi ini merupakan sebuah tindakan revolusioner yang dikampanyekan oleh siswa-siswa SMA negeri 10 Makassar.

Dikatakan oleh kepala sekolah SMA Negeri 10 Makassar bahwa, pihaknya berusaha agar siswa yang selesai mengikuti UN bisa meninggalkan kesan yang terbaik bagi almamaternya. ''Kita ingin ada budaya yang baik ditinggalkan oleh siswa yang selesai. Apa yang mereka lakukan akan menjadi contoh yang baik bagi adik kelasnya kelak,'' kata Samsu Alam.

Hal ini dilakukan guna merubah tradisi corat-coret yang sudah menjadi tradisi bagi siswa-siswi yang telah menyelesaikan UN. Namun mereka membuktikan bahwa euforia yang telah menjadi tradisi itu ternyata bisa dirayakan dengan cara yang berbeda. Hal itu mereka buktikan dengan menandatangani surat pernyataan yang berisi tentang kesediaan mereka untuk menyerahkan baju seragam mereka selepas UN.

''Bagi siswa yang melanggar akan diberikan sanksi. Mereka tidak diberikan surat keterangan berkelakukan baik dan ijazahnya tidak diberikan,'' jelas Kepsek.

between Obama and Indonesia

Few days ago, President of USA, Barrack Obama visited Indonesia. He brought his amazing speech in front of Indonesian was in Universitas Indonesia. In his speech, he combine English and Indonesian language. Citizen greet it with clap hand. In his speech, he said, "pulang kampung nih." That's mean gone up stream. "thank for bakso, sate and nasi goreng." "Semua enak."

Actually, when Obama was child, he lived in Indonesia. He lived at Menteng street and grew up there but he came back to America. Indonesian have been waiting for his come. He came with his lovely wife and visited Masjid Istiqlal Jakarta but he doesn't have a chance to visit his school.


Obama got warm welcome from Indonesian. In his speech, he also said that when he was a child,  "Sarinah" is the biggest building in Jakarta but right now, it become the smallest building.

mr. president come, college students going wild

few days ago, president of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yodhoyono came to Makassar city to attend a meeting. He came with his wife and his bodyguards. He rooming in clarion hotel, one of biggest hotel in Indonesia. Citizen extend a warm welcome to him but college students refuse him to come because he's failed to lead this country. He makes so many error and all of students judge him.

In the day he came, there is riots happened in Jl. Raya Pendidikan beside Universitas Negeri Makassar. Thousand police and army attack students that demonstration to refuse mr. president. Police use water canon to break the crowded up but It doesn't work. Students against by throwing stone to the police.

trapped inside train wreckage

Rescue are still struggling to evacuate passengers trapped inside carriages following a collision between Argobromo Anggrek executive train and Senja Utama business train in the Central Java town of Pemalang early on Saturday.

Witnesses said the evacuation efforts were hindered by the absence of a railroad crane, which was being dispatched to the accident site from the state railway company PT KAI office in the provincial capital of Semarang.

Head of the company’s Semarang office Sapto Hartoyo told kompas.com said all the carriagees that were unaffected by the train crash had been tugged to the Semarang railway station.

At least 26.people were killed as the Argobromo train struck the Senja Utama train from behind. The business train was making a stop to allow the executive train to overtake it.

State insurance company PT Jasa Raharja said it would pay compensation to families of the dead victims and cover medical treatment of those injured in the train crash.

flood disaster

The rain which fell on Friday, September 24 lasted approximately 1 hour. High-intensity rainfall flooded the streets in Makassar, South Sulawesi. As a result, congestion occurs at some point. Seeing the above, let us together go green campaign program. Because the earth does not belong to all of us who live on or today, but belongs to our children and grandchildren someday. Let them enjoy the fresh air, enjoying the warm sunshine, and enjoy the rain that fell with the right predictiont and proper season.
Do not let a disaster like this again. Comrades, let us keep this earth. This earth is old and will be damaged, but it can be repaired and needed awareness of all of us to fix it. Do not let the anger of the earth makes us ruined and extinct.

Ilegall logging

Luwu Timur Police in South Sulawesi have confiscated 740 logs they suspect were felled illegally, and questioned eight people in relation to the case.

The logs were confiscated last week in two raids, as they were being transported on trucks from protected forest areas.

Police chief Adj. Comr. Richard Nainggolan said some of the logs were seized in a protected forest area.

“The carrier did not have the necessary documents. The driver said the owner of the logs had the documents,” Richard said.

“We are currently looking for the owner of the logs,” he said.

Richard said illegal logging was rife in the area and that police had increased the frequency their patrols.

three russians die in Makassar

Three Russians working for Sukhoi aircraft holding in Makassar, Indonesia have died under unexplained circumstances, the head of the Russian embassy's consular department said on Tuesday. "The warranty service workers of KnAAPO aviation construction company have died," Vladimir Pronin said, adding that the engineers died on Monday.

The Russian specialists were helping Indonesian Air Force servicemen to maintain and use Russian Su-fighters that were recently delivered to the air base in the city of Makassar in Indonesia's South Sulawesi province. The cause of the deaths is being investigated, the diplomat said.

Indonesian Defense Minister, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, expressed his sincere condolence over the deaths and said the tragic incident would not affect Russian-Indonesian military technical cooperation. Under a $300 million contract, signed in 2007, Russia will complete the delivery of three Su-fighters to Indonesia by the end of 2010 in addition to two Su-27SK and two Su-30MK fighters purchased in 2003.

Malaysian Prime Minister reluctantly rewarded RI Travel Advisory


Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia has not issued a Travel Advisory plan (advice on travel) to Indonesia. Prime Minister (PM), Malaysia, Najib Razak has said he needs to consult with Wisma Putra (Foreign Ministry of Malaysia) before issuing a plea of travel because it is related to the interests of both countries.
"We need to consider many things when going to make that decision. At this stage, we will not issue travel advice unless the situation is deteriorating, "said Razak, in his office, Wednesday (1 / 9) then.
